Fpl evolution charging station — Jersey City, NJ

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

Installing an EV charger isn't a one-size-fits-all job. The final number depends on your home’s existing electrical panel capacity and whether you have enough room for a new circuit breaker. Distance is another big factor; running conduit from your panel to the garage or driveway adds labor and material costs. Choosing a hardwired unit versus a plug-in model also shifts the price. If your panel needs an upgrade to handle the extra load, that will be the largest variable.

About this service

FPL Evolution is a specific program offered by Florida Power & Light to help businesses and multi-unit properties manage their EV charging needs. You might need this if you are a property manager or business owner in Florida looking to install hardware supported by a utility-managed network. These setups often involve custom site assessments to handle power capacity requirements. Costs depend on the scale of your infrastructure and utility agreements. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
